On the water, an evolution is happening. Challenge yourself and up the ante by taking your workout to the water and to the next level with Aqua Vida's Floating Sculpt Boot Camp. This class is an all-levels 50 minute workout on water that combines the muscle-sculpting, core-firming benefits of resistance bands with a high-intensity, low-impact, full body workout. Think burpees, lunges, squats, dynamic workouts, core ~ designed for maximum calorie burn in the shortest amount of time, it gives you everything you need in one workout, plus the added test of balance, all on water. Designed by Jenny Lofaro, a local multisport athlete, professional grappler, Ironman competitor and USA Triathlon National athlete, specializing in functional movement, endurance, multisport and mobility training, this class allows your core muscles and small balancing muscles to take center stage. Get fit, get healthy, get wet, have fun!
9AM – 10AM Floating Yoga Special Event Series
WHAT IS FLOATING YOGA? Floating Yoga is a yoga practice that is done completely on floating mats in the pool. Expect an added balance and stability challenge, lots of laughs, and a unique experience that tones, strengthens, and helps to increase flexibility and focus. Join us for a winter Floating Yoga flow designed to build internal heat to keep us healthy and warm as we enjoy Sunday mornings like only your favorite surfer yogis can. If you've tried our class before, come and challenge yourself as you take advanced modifications to improve your balance, flexibility and strength. If you've never taken an Aqua Vida class before, you're in for a treat.
10AM – 11AM AquaKids Floating Series with Aqua Vida ages 8+
In Hawaii, the word for children is KEIKI. There, keiki are born into the water. Ancient cultures have long appreciated water for its ability to promote health and joy. We believe our kids deserve that too! Open their eyes to the magic of being on the water with Aqua Vida's AquaKids Floating Series. This is an all-levels class designed to introduce children to the playfulness of movement on water. Done completely on floating mats on the water (with a few occasional dips in the pool!), children will learn stability and balance as they strengthen and improve flexibility through our mixture of high-intensity and yoga inspired exercises. This will be the most fun they've had all winter doing a low-impact, full body workout. Our AquaKids SUP Clinic will open their eyes to the magic of being on the water. The kids will have a blast with all the fun water activities! All Skill Levels Welcome! **All children are required to swim**
