Join Aqua Vida for a community cleanup event of Poquessing Creek!
In celebration of city-wide initiative Philly Spring Cleanup, we'll meet at the Philadelphia Mills Mall and clean the banks of Poquessing Creek. As a tributary of the Delaware River, we'll be preventing highway trash from flowing further downstream, keeping it out of our oceans, hopefully making our cleanup work at the waterfront a little easier this summer!
After a morning of cleaning our waterways and outdoor recreation areas, we'll enjoy complimentary snacks and hear from the Philadelphia Water Dept. and Friends of Poquessing Watershed about the great work they're doing to keep our waterways clean year-round! Prize giveaways provided by REI Co-op and United By Blue.
Help us with our mission to #makesomewaves and removing trash from waterways by joining us for this cleanup. United By Blue will provide cleanup supplies, water and reusable water bottles, and snacks. You bring sturdy shoes, long pants, and your friends!
