ABOUT THE CAUSE:
In April of 2017, an executive order was signed aimed at expanding offshore oil and gas drilling in the Arctic and Atlantic Oceans — and maybe even in the Pacific Ocean.
The public is being asked to comment. The 45-day public comment period on the Five-Year National Offshore Oil and Gas Leasing Program on the Outer Continental Shelf will close Aug. 17.
This is our opportunity to STAND UP against offshore oil and gas drilling and the damaging effects it will have on our oceans.
Water is life. Let's #makesomewaves.
