RYT 200, Aqua Vida SUP Yoga, Hatha Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Power Yoga
Marie has always had a love for movement and life ~ when she was young, it was through sports and being active, and, as she got older, it manifested into fitness and a love for the outdoors. Anyway she possibly can she combines the two. Helloo...Aqua Vida. Aqua Vida walked into her life when they had their very first floating yoga class in 2014 on the Schukyll River in Philadelphia.
Between the warm weather, the sunshine, the challenge of paddleboarding, the practice of yoga and the calmness of the water, Marie fell in love and found her passion. You might say it was love at first sight because Marie then followed Aqua Vida on their journey as she pursued her own alongside with them. She attended Aqua Vida’s first retreat in Costa Rica and further developed her love of yoga, the water, surfing and life. This sparked a new journey to explore Yoga and SUP Yoga teaching. She decided to pursue her own certifications and attended the White Lotus Foundation 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Training in Santa Barbara, California under the teachings of Famous Ganga White and Tracey Rich.
In the mountains of the Santa Barbara coast, Marie discovered the breath and the power of breath with movement. It was here that Marie truly began to appreciate the mental aspects that yoga offers and how much the water in Stand Up Paddleboard yoga adds an additional element of calm and oneness with life that truly helps center oneself and allow space for true joy. Marie has a very successful career in corporate America and teaches Floating Yoga and Floating Boot Camp in her free time.
She is a true advocate for Aqua Vida and the holistic lifestyle it stands for. Her hope and vision for Aqua Vida is that others will find stillness and beauty in single moments, to allow space to ground oneself in the vastness of life and ultimately give energy and power to live out life to one’s true potential.
